Bloemen in eigen tuin | juli

Over de foto’s:

De bloemen staan mooi in bloei ondanks de (te) hete zomer. Het avondzonlicht strijkt mooi over de bloemen. In deze fotoserie de Agaphantus die zwiert in het briesje, waardoor de foto een mysterieuze waas krijgt. Tussen de serie bloemen zit ook een kruid, Salie. Als je salie van dichtbij bekijkt zie je de fijne ‘haartjes’, waardoor ze zo zacht aanvoelen. Door de hoeveelheid aan bloemen bij de Brachyscome krijg je een heerlijk dromerig effect en als laatste de Dahlia. Ik hou van de Dahlia’s als bloemen, toch zijn ze met een macrolens uitdagend om te fotograferen.

About the photos:

The flowers are in full bloom despite the (too) hot summer. The evening sunlight casts a lovely glow over the flowers. In this photo series, the Agapanthus sways in the breeze, giving the photo a mysterious haze. Amongst the range of flowers is also a herb: sage. If you look at sage up close, you can see the fine ‘hairs’, which make it feel so soft. The wealth of flowers on the Brachyscome creates a wonderfully dreamy effect, and last but not least, the dahlia. I love dahlias as flowers, yet they are challenging to photograph with a macro lens.
