Huis Bartolotti | Amsterdam

Een dagje in Amsterdam en ik begon de dag met een bezoek aan Huis Bartolotti. Een imposant 17-eeuws grachtenpand. Het is zo’n huis waar je heerlijk terug in de tijd kan verdwalen. Van mooie plafondschilderingen met een verhaal, prachtige behangetje, knusse lampjes, oude spiegels en ramen die het zonlicht fijn laten binnen vallen.

A day in Amsterdam, and I started the day with a visit to Huis Bartolotti. An imposing 17th-century canal house. It’s the kind of house where you can lose yourself in the past. Beautiful ceiling paintings with a story to tell, gorgeous wallpaper, cosy lamps, old mirrors and windows that let the sunlight stream in.
