Sverige | Kalmar Slott & Kalmar Stad

Vrijdag 27 september ging ik een dag naar de stad Kalmar. De dag begon ik met een wandeling rondom het buitengebied van Kalmar Slott (foto 1 tot en met 7). Kastelen vind ik heel indrukwekkend, het zonlicht dat door de mooie ramen naar binnen valt en de mooie plafond en muurschilderingen. De tijdelijke expositie over heksen was ook heel bijzonder om te zien (foto 8 tot en met 12).

On Friday 27 September, I went to the city of Kalmar for a day. I started the day with a walk around the outskirts of Kalmar Slott (photos 1 to 7). Castles I find very impressive, the sunlight falling in through the beautiful windows and the beautiful ceiling and wall paintings. The temporary exhibition on witches was also very special to see (photos 8 to 12).

In de middag bezocht ik de Dom Kyrkan. De buitenzijde van de kerk is mooi oranje, de binnenzijde is heel wit met verschillende grafmonumenten aan de muren. Dit zijn stuk voor stuk alleen al kunstwerken (foto 13 tot en met 15).

In the afternoon, I visited the Dom Kyrkan. While the outside of the church is beautiful orange, the inside is very white with various tombs on the walls. Each of these alone are works of art (photos 13 to 15).

Na het bezoek aan de Dom Kyrkan heb ik stadswandeling gemaakt door Kalmar. Tegen het einde van de middag heb ik wandeling gemaakt langs de haven. Met een mooie regenboog sloot ik de dag af (foto 16 tot en met 21).

About the photos:

After visiting the Dom Kyrkan, I took a city walk through Kalmar. Towards the end of the afternoon, I took a walk along the harbour. With a beautiful rainbow, I ended the day (photo 16 to 21).
