Magische zonsopkomst | Stiphoutse bossen

Na een hele slechte nacht slapen, besloot ik deze ochtend te gaan wandelen. Camera mee, maar in mijn gedachten zat ik nog bij een lange zaterdag vol informatie. Toen ik boven het ven de mist op zag trekken en de lucht rozig kleurig was het tijd om snel mijn camera uit de tas te halen. Aan het bankje kan je zien dat het water begint te dalen. Deze keer wandelde ik bijna om het ven, iets wat tot ongeveer een jaar geleden door het hoge water niet mogelijk was. Net om de hoek werd ik verrast door een magische zonsopkomst. Beter kon mijn zondag niet meer beginnen!

After a really bad night’s sleep, I decided to go for a walk this morning. Camera with me, but in my mind I was still on a long Saturday full of information. When I saw the fog lifting above the fen and the sky turning pinkish, it was time to quickly take my camera out of the bag. You can see at the bench that the water is starting to recede. This time I almost walked around the fen, something that was not possible until about a year ago due to the high water. Just around the corner, I was surprised by a magical sunrise. My Sunday couldn’t have started any better!
