Wandeling in de Stiphoutse Bossen

Een mooie en verassende ochtendwandeling in de Stiphoutse bossen. De ochtend begon met iets wat optrekkende mist. Een aantal reeën schoten vlak voor mij weg. Te snel en te vlakbij voor een foto. Later bij het Kromven, zag ik ineens iets blauws voorbij vliegen. Dit bleek de IJsvogel te zijn. Ik had vaker gehoord dat de IJsvogel in de Stiphoutse bossen zit, maar ik had deze nog nooit eerder hier gezien.

About the photos:

A beautiful and surprising morning walk in the Stiphout forest. The morning started with slightly rising fog. A couple of roe deer sprang away right in front of me. Too fast and too close for a photo. Later at the Kromven, I suddenly saw something blue fly by. This turned out to be the Kingfisher. I had often heard that the Kingfisher is in the Stiphout forest, but I had never seen it here before.
