Van Nes naar Hollum | Ameland

Over de foto’s:

Vanuit Leiden ben ik doorgereden naar Nes. Voor het eerst naar de waddeneilanden en dus ook voor het eerst op Ameland. De eerste twee foto’s zijn gemaakt vlak na aankomst. Er waaide een gure wind. Deze wind creëerde een mooie zandvlaag over het vochtige strand.
De tweede dag ben ik vanuit Nes naar de vuurtoren in Hollum gewandeld. Een mooie afwisselende wandeling langs het strand en door de duinen. Ook een zware wandeling met ruim 30 kilometer in de benen.

About the photos:

From Leiden I drove on to Nes. For the first time to the Wadden Islands and thus also for the first time on Ameland. The first two pictures were taken just after arrival. A bleak wind was blowing. This wind created a beautiful flurry of sand over the damp beach.
The second day I walked from Nes to the lighthouse in Hollum. A nice varied walk along the beach and through the dunes. Also a tough walk with over 30 kilometers.
