Stiphoutse bossen

Vorige week zondag ben ik vroeg op gestaan om de verwachte warmte te ontwijken en in de ochtend heerlijk te gaan wandelen. De tijd van mysterieuze mistige ochtenden is aangebroken. Wat een mooie manier om de dag te beginnen met een zonsopkomst samen met de op trekkende mist boven de grotendeels uitgebloeide heide.

Last Sunday I got up early to avoid the expected warm weather and go for a lovely morning walk. The time of mysterious misty mornings has arrived. What a beautiful way to start the day with a sunrise along with the advancing fog over the largely effaced heathland.

Op de foto zie je de werktafel van Anton Pieck, na zijn overlijden overgebracht naar het museum. Naast diverse mooie werken, inspireerde en fascineerde dit plekje mij enorm.

The photo shows Anton Pieck's work table, transferred to the museum after his death. Besides several beautiful works, this place inspired and fascinated me immensely.

Even geleden was ik in het mooie Dordrecht. Een prachtige bewolkte lucht en de zon die zich zo nu en dan liet zien was het een fijne dag. Heerlijk rond gedwaald door de mooie oude straten.

A little while ago I was in beautiful Dordrecht. A beautiful overcast sky and the sun showing itself every now and then it was a nice day. Lovely wandering around the beautiful old streets.

Vandaag ben ik jarig en blaas ik 35 kaarsjes uit. Gisteren vierde ik een feestje met zelf gebakken taarten, waaronder deze citroen schuimtaart.
